Framed Violets Alcohol Ink Background |
|
I tried creating an alcohol ink background on shimmer paper, and I love the way it came out!
Measurements:
Card Base (Gorgeous Grape): 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" scored at 4 1/4"
Mat (Fresh Freesia Shimmer Paper): 5 1/4" x 4"
Insert (Basic White): 5 1/4" x 4"
Instructions:
-Using Stampin' Blend Markers in Blackberry Bliss, Highland Heather, Berry Burst and Fresh Freesia, scribble randomly on the Fresh Freesia shimmer paper.
-Dab alcohol around the edges of each color using a small paint brush.
-Using a straw or a heat gun, move the color arounf to create a marble effect.
-Using the Framed Violets Dies, die-cut a scalloped oval shape out of the Shimmer Paper Panel.
-Adhere the outer Shimmer Paper Panel to the card front.
-Using Dimensionals, adhere the scalloped shape into the middle of the Shimmer Paper panel.
-Using the Framed Violets Stamp Set, stamp, color and die-cut 3 violet bunches.
-Create a bouquet of violets and adhere to the center of the oval using Dimensionals.
-Using the Elegantly Wrapped bundle, stamp and die-cut a bow and sentiment label.
-Adhere the bow to the violet bouquet and tuck the sentiment label under.
-Adhere the Basic White Insert to the inside of the card.
