Shaker Easel Card
This card features a free-standing easel. Is it a card? Is it a gift? It's 2-in-1!
Card Base (Smoky Slate): 4 1/4" x 11" scored at 5 1/2"
Inside Card Mat (Bubble Bath): 4" x 5 1/4"
Inside Card Layer (Basic White): 3 3/4" x 5"
Stamped Image (Basic White): 2 3/8" x 2 3/8"
Easel Backing (Bubble Bath): 3 1/4" x 6 1/2" scored at 3 1/4"
Easel Stand (Bubble Bath): 1 1/4" x 7 1/2" scored at 2 1/2", 3 1/2", 4 1/2" & 7"
Easel Frame (Daffodil Delight): 3" x 3"
Easel Frame (Smoky Slate) 3" x 3"
Window Sheet: 2 5/8" x 2 5/8"
Create the Shaker Easel:
Stamp images on the Basic White square for the focal point.
Emboss or stamp the front of the Easel card.
Add glue to the inside of the small card and glue front to back creating a square.
Die-cut the Daffodil Delight square with the Stylish Shapes dies, using the largest square and the 3rd largest square, nested.
Die-cut the Smoky Slate square with the Stylish Shapes dies, using the largest square and the 2nd largest, nested.
Glue the Large Smoky Slate square onto the small Daffodil Delight square creating a border.
Add tear-and-tape to the backside of the squares and adhere the acetate.
Add Foam Adhesive strips on top of the acetate square end to end to hold the shaker pieces.
Sprinkle shaker pieces into the middle of the window sheet. Adhere the stamped image square on top of the adhesive strips.
Adhere the shaker frame onto the easel frame.
Burnish the folds of the easel stand and adhere to the back of the easel frame.
Create Card Base:
Place the card base into the trimmer at the 2 1/4" mark. Place your trimmer blade down at 1 1/2" and cut down to 3" to create a slit.
Stamp or emboss the front of the card base to frame the center.
Adhere the card stock mat to the inside of the card. Adhere the Basic White panel to the inside of the card.
Insert the easel frame stand into the slit.
Add sentiments or embellishments!
